5 star hotel classifications

There is a hotel star union, where Austria and other European countries are united and other European countries such as: Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland. Some years after other countries started joining the star family: Estonia,  Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Belgium, Denmark and Greece.

5 Star Superior

In order to obtain the 5 Star Superior title: The luxury star hotels need to attain high expectations of an international guest service. Their partnership is providing a harmonised hotel classification with common criteria and procedures in the participating countries. The Hotelstars Union enhances the reputation and quality of the hotel industry in the participating countries by creating transparency and security for the guests and thereby encouraging hotel marketing.

5 Star
